USAWGF JUDGE AND VOLUNTEER
DOCUMENTS AND REGULATIONS
Judges play a vital role in ensuring athletes are scored under fair standards at national and recreational competitive events. Judging roles include head judge, difficulty judge, execution judge, and artistic impression judge. Wheel disciplines include straight line, spiral, vault, and Cyr. USAWGF offers a variety of training modules, online live classes, and in person live classes, for judge education. National judges are required to stay up to date on their judging discipline through education every 2 years.
Volunteers help our events run smoothly and efficiently. There are many ways to help out at national events, via volunteering as a calculator, line judge, emcee, wheel size checker, music coordinator, setup/tear down crew, and photographer.
We look forward to working with you at our upcoming events. Please find our registration and workshop schedules below.

1 Athlete-1 Judge Policy
So that we can have a sufficient judging panel, it is mandatory that each athlete competing in a National competition supply one judge. If an athlete cannot bring a judge, they will be charged a $180 fee.
